Hot salad

Spelled with cabbage, carrots, pumpkin seeds and sesame accompanied by L'Ove | The glass garden with pumpkin and ginger flavor

Ingredients for 4

320 gr of spelled
1/2 cabbage
2 carrots
4 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds
4 tablespoons of sesame seeds
Chili pepper
Extra virgin olive oil
L'Ove pumpkin and ginger jam


Cook the spelled for about 25 '/ 30' in hot water (proportion 1: 2) with a pinch of salt and a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil.
The cooking time depends on the type of spelled you use. 
If 40 'are required, it is better to add a little more water (a glass may be enough).

Wash the cabbage, wash and peel the carrots. Cut both into julienne strips. In a wok heat 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, when hot pour the cabbage and carrots, stirring often and cooking over high heat for about 10 '. Halfway through cooking, add salt and add chilli to taste.

Dry toast the sesame seeds in a non-stick pan.
When the spelled is cooked, pour it into a bowl with the sesame seeds and the vegetables cooked in the wok. Mix well and serve with sesame seeds.

For this recipe I suggest you to serve the spelled salad with L'Ove jams flavored with pumpkin and ginger, which I produce with the vegetables of a farm in Malamocco (Lido di Venezia, Venice).
