Description
Rocket has jagged leaves and a pungent, slightly peppery taste reminiscent of mustard, from the same family. Wild rocket has thinner leaves and an even stronger flavour.
It is almost always eaten raw: as a base for crudités, in salads with strawberries and herbs, blended with seeds and tomatoes into a green sauce. To keep its colour when blending, don't let it heat up too much.
