Description
By "green salad" I mean any of the many seasonal leafy lettuces: butterhead, oak leaf, frisée, lamb's lettuce. Each has its own texture, from the softest to the crunchiest.
Wash it in plenty of cold water and dry it well so the dressing clings. I love mixing it with fresh herbs, flowers and fruit, for a salad that is never boring.
