Description
Kohlrabi looks like a small pale green or purple ball sprouting leaves. It is the swollen stem of the plant, crunchy and mild, somewhere between cabbage and turnip.
Peel it and eat it raw in slices or matchsticks, or cooked, layered in a bake with potatoes.
